How many kids can be accommodated for parties?
We can host 15-40 kids at private birthday parties. 22 players can play laser tag together. If there are more, the group is divided and rotated between arcade games and laser tag.
What is the order/flow of parties?
Guests kick-off the party with arcade games and then transition to laser tag. Finally, they spend the last 30 minutes in the private party room for pizza and cake.
How do I reserve open laser tag times
Check calendar for times & available spaces. Reserve spaces online. The cost is $35+ tax per person for one hour, which includes four rounds. To reserve vests, advance payment is required for the number of vests that you want to reserve. No refunds for canceled times or vests, however you may reschedule your session with the entire group within three months from your reservation.
Can I bring an ice cream cake for my party?
Yes, you can bring an ice cream cake and it will be stored in the freezer during the party. It is a $20 per ice cream cake handling/cleaning add-on.
How early can I arrive to set-up for my party?
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes because we treat each party with personalized attention and there may be a party going on before yours. If you have decor, you can set-up while the kids are playing.
Is there open play for toddlers?
We do not offer open toddler play time. Kids should be 6 and above to play laser tag and 4 years old for arcade games.
Do we need advanced reservations for open laser tag.
To guarantee space, we highly recommend you reserve vests online. For open laser sessions further out, email havefun@livelylaser.com for availability.
Can I change my party reservation headcount?
Certainly!! Your party head count is due one week before your party when we email* your party confirmation. If your party count changes by more than 3-4 people, we request an updated head count two calendar days before your party via email to havefun@livelylaser.com. You are charged for the number of kids that show up, above the minimum in your party package and not the estimate that you provided.

Do I need to sign a waiver for all siblings or is only required per household?
Yes, all players under 17 years old must have a signed waiver by a parent/guardian and adults must complete a waiver for themselves. A waiver is effective for a calendar year.
Are tips for party hosts required?
Our party hosts work hard to provide the ultimate fun for our young guests. Gratuities are greatly appreciated for your party team.
Are we allowed to bring in outside food?
We know great food is the icing on the cake. Therefore, outside cakes, cupcakes, donuts and specialty desserts are permitted for all party package. All other food must be ordered from our menu, if it is available with your party package. We do not permit ANY outside food for open laser tag.
Can parties be canceled?
Stuff comes up! Although deposits are non-refundable, we will work with you to reschedule parties with 21 days advanced notice with no change fee. If you need to change again, there is a $75 change fee.
Less than 21 days notice, there is a $100 change fee.
If there is inclement weather, there is no fee to reschedule.
You have twelve months from your original party date to hold your rescheduled party.

How many people do you need to play laser tag?
The minimum number of people to play laser tag is 2. But, ideally, teams consist of a minimum of four to six people. It is preferable to have an even number of players, but don’t worry if there are not because other players often show up during open play or we can re-balance teams based on experience and skills.
Is there a laser tag age restriction?
Laser tag is a game for all ages. Players should be 6+ years old and willing to play in a dark arena with glow-in-the-dark lights. Laser Tag isn’t just for kids, many teens, adults, parents, grandparents and work colleagues enjoy playing laser tag. Its appeals to active folks looking for a sense of adventure and a healthy competitive spirit.
What are some insider laser tag player tips?
There are several tactics to improve your laser tag skills and performance.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Also, some players believe wearing dark clothing provides a competitive advantage by becoming more stealth.
- Develop a game strategy that consists of offense and defense.
- Work to score bonus points by destroying the opponent’s base.
- Move constantly, change your locations and seek out great hiding spaces with a great position for tagging opponents.
- Communicate and interact with your teammates. The victory is at stake, so signal your allies about enemies’ locations, their movements, calling for back-up and refine your game strategy between game rounds.
However, don’t take winning too seriously. At the end of the day, it’s all in fun and games. So

How many different ways can laser tag be played?
Lively Laser Tag offers over 20 different game formats, however there are several that prove to be players’ favorite. By far, the most popular game is the Team format. The collaboration and partnership allows teammates to bond and enjoy working together for a thrilling experience. Also, other popular laser tag formats are Free-For-All, which is an individual effort, and Capture the Flag, another variation of team play.
Is laser tag safe?
Laser Tag is a socially distanced activity that is both safe and fun. Moreover, it is an entertaining, healthy way to get the body moving and get the heart pulsating with low cardio exercise. Also, laser tag light beams are safe and uses the same infrared technology in TV remote controls. Laser tag equipment is sanitized after each use.
How does laser tag work?
Laser Tag is a modern, high-tech, indoor and contactless play experience using infrared
technology to shoot harmless laser beams that tags sensors in the vests in order to score points
and temporarily deactivate opponents. Games statistics are tracked real-time and tabulated by
individual players and by team.
Is there an age and height requirement for laser tag?
We truly want all kids to have a blast and stay safe, so the recommended age is 6+ years and 42+ inches tall.
